y por consecuencia ocupa un lugar estratégico en el conjunto de la sociedad. Es por ello, que la tarea de las Escuelas Norma- les consistirá en la formación de profesores como intelectuales conscientes, éticos y comprometidos (Ducoing 2005). Práctica docente: Una formación a través de la coti- dianidad Elsie Rockwell y Ruth Mercado (1998;2018) a través de sus estu- dios etnográficos analizan una dimensión nodal en la práctica docente, me refiero al análisis sobre el término de “cotidiani- dad”. Estas investigaciones reportan los procesos sociales que constituyen, a través de la historia, a cada escuela y cómo, con base en la observación en el salón de clases, muestran que ahí ocurren cosas inexplicables dentro del marco del propio salón: las acciones y prioridades de los maestros, las respuestas del alumno y las múltiples interrupciones cotidianas que remiten constatar lo que se encuentra más allá de las cuatro paredes del aula, es decir; en las acciones únicas del proceso de enseñanza propiciada por la interacción inmediata entre maestro-alumno. Las condiciones materiales de ésta, los saberes del maestro, considerado como sujeto construído a través del cruce de su biografía personal y la historia social, ofrecen aproximaciones diversas a la práctica docente en su relación con la escuela. Te- niendo en cuenta las condiciones materiales de la institución, la relación del profesor ante las normas estatales y oficiales, y cómo influyen en la cotidianidad de sus prácticas es lo que da cuenta a la denominado “norma real”, esto es, lo que ocurre y se asume como lo que debe ser en la escuela a través de prác- ticas recurrentes.
