Es muy importante plantear el contexto en donde fue escrito el texto analizar y quién lo escribió, ya que este dato dará elementos para ser entendido el discurso, y comprendido el lenguaje utiliza- do. También conocer el contexto de una obra en donde fue escrita, proporciona datos de la cultura de ese momento histórico que se estaba viviendo. Trabajar en educación este tipo de textos 昀椀losó- 昀椀cos de una manera sencilla, ayuda a entender los textos escritos con mucho hermetismo y aprovechar la riqueza que guardan todos ellos. ¿Qué les da vida a los seres? Critias, después de una larga conversación con Sócrates, pro- pone que hable Timeo: «puesto que es el que más astronomía conoce de nosotros y el que más se ocupa en conocer la na- turaleza del universo hable en primer lugar, comenzando con la creación del mundo y terminando con la naturaleza de los 3 hombres» En su intervención, Critias (considerado un político brillante) indica el tema principal de este Diálogo VI, es hablar acerca de la creación del mundo y la naturaleza del hombre. Digamos ahora por qué causa el hacedor hizo el devenir y este universo […] Haríamos muy bien en aceptar de hombres inteli- gentes este principio importantísimo del devenir y del mundo. Como el dios quería que todas las cosas fueran buenas y no hubiera en lo posible nada malo, tomó todo cuanto es visible, que se movía sin reposo de manera caótica y desordenada, y lo condujo del desorden al orden, porque pensó que éste es en 4 todo sentido mejor que aquél.
