En este sentido no es posible tener una sóla técnica de análisis, pero si es necesario que las y los normalistas diversifiquen y profundicen en su conocimiento y aplicación. La investigación cualitativa permite un abordaje muy diverso del problema de estudio; sin embargo es importante que se pueda categorizar la información recabada y apoyarse del andamiaje teórico que permita profundizar en el análisis del dato empírico. El análisis de la información genera “una mejor comprensión de un fenómeno, lleva a explicaciones alternativas, representa un proceso de comparación que encuentra patrones y compara datos, y es alavés un proceso ordenado y cuidadoso con gran flexibilidad. Éste constituye el corazón del análisis cualitativo” (Álvarez-Gayou, 2005, p. 191) En este proceso, el uso del diario del profesor fue una herra- mienta clave en los planes y programas de estudio 1999 para la formación inicial docente; si bien en palabras de Rafael Porlán (2018) es escencial aprender a pensar por escrito, “…el pensa- miento no escrito es una traición. El pensamiento escrito nos obliga a ser objetivos y a usar adjetivos, a matizar, a decir exac- tamente lo que se quiere decir (…) El pensamiento escrito es reflexión, análisis (p. 17-18). Sin embargo, la construcción del diario requiere de sistematicidad que reclama tiempo, no sólo durante el desarrollo de las sesiones para la toma de notas de los sucesos que se consideran relevantes, sino posteriormente para la redacción densa de lo ocurrido y luego el análisis de lo ya escrito. El diario del profesor se convierte, ante la falta de tiempo para su redacción y análisis, en un obstáculo más que una herramienta que facilite la práctica reflexiva.
