siendo similar a la versión oficial de la misma, y, en casos ex- tremos, jugando el mismo papel (p.3). A este proceso lo denomina ideologización de la verdad histó- rica que en contextos como el de América Latina se constru- ye sobre la violencia, lo que imposibilita la comprensión de la multicausalidad histórica, alimenta la división social y teje el camino para la implementación de políticas del olvido que borran material y/o simbólicamente los vestigios y huellas de un sin fin de acontecimientos históricos que son incómodos al poder hegemónico (Cardona, 2008, p. 15). El borrado de la memoria se ha ejercido históricamente y permea y afecta a toda la sociedad; sin embargo, repercute específicamente en ciertos sectores invisibilizados a lo largo del tiempo. Ejemplo de ello es la criminalización de la protesta social, la destrucción de los pueblos originarios, la persecución de sobrevivientes de los crímenes de Estado, el exterminio de la oposición y la desaparición y desplazamiento forzados. Esta situación es preocupante y se relaciona directamente con el consumo de fuentes de información indiscriminadas y sin una conciencia clara de lo que aportan a la comprensión de la realidad social, por lo que el contexto problemático en el que nos desenvolvemos cotidianamente se normaliza y se invisibi- liza a los actores, los conflictos y cómo es que esas situaciones nos afectan en lo colectivo. En este contexto, ha surgido la necesidad de trabajar en la reconstrucción de la memoria desde un ejercicio comunitario constante, que se ha llevado a cabo a lo largo de la historia por diversos actores a partir de la resistencia social y cultural, orientada a la reparación de las personas en situación de víc- 119
