Esto a su vez ¿cómo ha ido configurando una forma de ser profesor? ¿Cómo son estas prácticas docentes formadoras? ¿Con qué patrones de formación forman y se forman los profesores normalistas? ¿Qué características comunes tienen quienes acceden a la Nor- mal? ¿Cómo influyen estas en su práctica docente, su relación con el currículo y su visión y misión de la formación y de la Escuela Normal? Formación docente La formación del profesor en Educación Básica a nivel nacio- nal, está, en su gran mayoría a cargo de las escuelas normales, que, según la definición de Littré, son un establecimiento que sirve de modelo para que se formen otros del mismo género (Littré, s/f. en Ferry, 1990). Es decir, su función es normalizar un tipo de enseñanza en los profesores, en este caso de la Es- cuela Normal; institución que marca la norma de cómo debiera ser la enseñanza en Educación Básica en el plano estatal. Desde Ferry (1990) se entiende a la formación como el tra- bajo sobre sí mismo, y aunque es personal siempre tiene me- diaciones que lo posibilitan: culturales, históricas, sociales, políticas, institucionales, administrativas por mencionar algu- nas. Menciona Ducoing (2003), a través de la interpretación que hace sobre el pensar de de Ferry (1990), que la formación es entendida, por tanto, como un proceso de desarrollo indi- vidual a través del cual se adquieren o mejoran capacidades, se reflexiona y se trabaja para sí mismo en cuanto a situacio- nes, sucesos e ideas; una formación a través de interacciones del sujeto con el medio.
