Hé aquí por qué ha hecho el mundo y el mejor posible Platón Introducción Una manera de llevar a los alumnos a reflexionar es trabajando textos filosóficos en las aulas. En este caso el pretexto para ha- cerlo es el Timeo, un diálogo escrito por Platón por el año 360 a. C., el tema a trabajar es el origen del universo y la naturaleza humana. En este diálogo hay una conversación entre Sócrates, Timeo, Hermócrates y Critias, ellos platican acerca del origen del universo y de la naturaleza humana. Las preguntas y res- puestas de uno de ellos (Timeo) le dan sentido al texto; con el fin de seguir un hilo conductor, lo he dividido en cinco aparta- dos, cada uno de ellos estructurado a partir de una pregunta: ¿Qué hacían los filósofos? ¿Es necesario definir el contexto del personaje y de la obra? ¿Qué les da vida a los seres vivos?, ¿De qué están hechas las cosas del universo?, y ¿Qué se necesitó para crear a los hombres mortales?
