físico; Utiliza una metodología que parte de las percepciones y representaciones de los sujetos, bajo la característica de ma- teria fluida o sólida, de forma permanente y en algunos casos cambiantes sobre lo material del universo, es decir, los objetos de conocimiento están fuera del sujeto llamado hombre. Por ello las ciencias de la naturaleza se fundaron bajo el signo de la objetividad, lo que sugiere un universo de objetos de cono- cimiento aislados y descubiertos por principios objetivamente universales. En esta visión el objeto existe de manera positiva, sin que el observador/conceptuador participe en su construcción ha- ciendo uso de las estructuras de su entendimiento y las cate- gorías de su cultura. Es sustancial, con plenitud ontológica, y autosuficiente en su ser. El objeto es pues una entidad cerrada y distinta; se define aisladamente su existencia, sus caracteres y propiedades, independientemente de su entorno. Su realidad objetiva es determinada cuando se le aísla para controlar sus experimentos. Así la objetividad del universo de los objetos se sustenta en una doble independencia con respecto del ob- servador humano del medio natural […] el conocimiento del objeto es el de su situación en el espacio (posición, velocidad) de sus cualidades físicas (masa, energía) de sus propiedades químicas, y de las leyes generales que actúan sobre él (Morín, 2002, p. 117). Entendido así, el objeto, las condiciones y sus característi- cas pueden ser llevadas a situaciones de medición, en tanto se conviertan en unidades materiales que pueden ser analizadas y descompuestas en elementos más simples.
