Otro punto auxiliar desde la geografía al análisis de pro- blemáticas socioespaciales es la escala. Problematizar los te- mas implica contemplar en la enseñanza la multicausalidad, múltiples escalas de análisis, la idea de proceso, el debate in- formado y la toma de posición (Fernández Caso, 2007 en Hu- ghes, 2013). Para Calero (1999) la geografía puede ser fuente de metas educativas que desde otro abordaje no se tienen. Para Rodríguez (2000) es central tenerlas en cuenta ya que dan el contexto espacial de la práctica educativa. A nivel personal, re- marca los desplazamientos físicos y decisiones individuales. A nivel local, en donde se comparte un ámbito cultural. Y a nivel global para procesar información de medios de comunicación y problemas mundiales. Si apelamos a un ejemplo en el dibujo de abajo, realizado por Vicente Moraga de 5 años que recupe- ró Gallastegui y Rojas (2016) pueden entenderse estas escalas. Vicente identifica distintos espacios en la ciudad en los que convergen distintas escalas como pueden ser los puentes que conectan a un espacio con otro o los autobuses y automóviles que se desplazan y conectan con otras ciudades. En definitiva, el cuestionamiento sobre ordenamiento y uso del espacio, pasar a preguntas más incisivas, analizar situa- ciones cotidianas y utilizar las escalas en los análisis de pro- blemáticas están entre las aportaciones más importantes de la geografía. 220
