y posturas en las que se entienda la dinámica propia de los acontecimientos analizados, las tensiones y disputas por sus representaciones y permanencia en las memorias colectivas (Rivera, 2021, p. 55). Abordar la memoria desde la educación nos permite enten- der al tiempo histórico desde una visión activa y caminar ha- cia la construcción de una historia que supere las limitaciones positivistas. La memoria colectiva se puede entender en un doble sentido: como una forma de construcción de identidad y cohesión social de un grupo a partir de experiencias vividas y transmitidas, y como una forma de estudio del pasado reciente ligado a acontecimientos traumáticos. Este último se convierte necesariamente en un espacio de disputa y tiene implicaciones políticas por las luchas entre diversos actores por dominar la interpretación del pasado (Plá y Pagès, 2014, p. 21). Como se- ñala Pantoja, la escuela es donde las sociedades se disputan las memorias posibles sobre sí mismas (2017, p. 62). En este senti- do, resulta pertinente cuestionarnos ¿cómo vamos a utilizar la memoria en la escuela para construir diversas historias que den respuestas a las preocupaciones de los jóvenes? (Rivera, 2021, p. 54). Cardona menciona al respecto: [...] la educación nos permite reflexionar sobre las expectati- vas y horizontes de futuro que tenemos en nuestro ser indi- vidual y colectivo. Sin embargo, el propósito aquí trazado no es apresurarse a dar definiciones de estos grandes conceptos, sino más bien encaminar la reflexión guiados por una inten- ción básica: conducirnos al intento de educar para una ciuda- danía que mantenga viva la memoria histórica como símbolo de autoconciencia e identidad (2014, p. 25). 123
