ticos” y “ejemplares” desde la Enseñanza de la Historia “para que sea mejor comprendido el presente, desarrollar en ellos un pensamiento crítico, hipotético deductivo y especialmente que se generen una conciencia histórica teniendo como eje central la empatía” (p.454). El artículo queda corto sobre el uso de algunas de las categorías mencionadas, a pesar de tener claras referencias didácticas sobre el campo de la Enseñanza de la Historia. En el caso de Edgar Fernández, Salvador Lira y Jesús Domín- guez, buscan que los estudiantes se asuman como sujetos so- ciales antes que individuales. Esta investigación es modesta en tanto que, si bien, señala la importancia de formar ciudadanos que trasciendan al individuo, queda pendiente la estrategia sis- tematizada de cómo hacerlo, cuestión que los mismos autores señalan. Además, se recurre a la Historia y a la Filosofía para explicar el origen y evolución del sujeto actual (el estudiante) (p.563) pero sin trascender al plano pedagógico o didáctico. Fernández, Lira y Domínguez toman únicamente como re- ferentes para explicar la modernidad y posmodernidad a au- tores europeos pero no del todo actualizados, dejando fuera discusiones referentes a las epistemologías del sur y las filo- sofías nuestroamericanas, así como discusiones surgidas en la misma Europa como las modernidades múltiples (Eisenstadt, 2000) y el presentismo (Hartog, 2007), mencionando cuestio- nes como las 2 guerras mundiales, la edad antigua y las formas de organización de la “edad media”, pero sin problematizar ello en relación a los estudiantes mexicanos del siglo XXI. En consecuencia, la propuesta si bien, puede servir como punto de partida, queda limitado a una reflexión teórica que no pro- blematiza discusiones contemporáneas ni enlaza la intención 101
