Simplemente susti- tuye la H de él, él o su por una Z. Quizás tu correo electrónico sería algo parecido a: “Devin-Norelle y yo hemos hablado hoy del proyecto final y me ha dicho que se encargará de la mayor parte del trabajo preliminar. Una vez que añada mis diapositivas al powerpoint, se lo enviaré a zim para que lo edite”. Otros ejemplos de los pronombres de zis/elles son ze/zim/zis podrían ser: I needed to deliver this package to zim / Where did ze go? / ¿Adónde se fue? These keys belong to zim / Estas llaves son de zim. Aunque los gramáticos prescriptivos estrictos consideran el singular they es un error gramatical, otros mencionan que su uso se ha extendido durante varios siglos y que el singular they aparece en los escritos de Chaucer, Shakespeare, Austen, Woolf y muchos otros grandes autores ingleses.
