Foundation News Doug Frey $7,000 Needed to Reach our $10,000 Goal! Donations matched dollar-for-dollar! This spring, the Foundation Board of Directors agreed to match donations, up to $10,000, in support of an ADA-accessible kayak/canoe launch at The Hollows Conservation Area in Cary, IL. We are excited to share that, to date, you helped us raise $3,000: THANK YOU! This ADA-accessible kayak/canoe launch will provide persons with disabilities the opportunity to independently access Lake Atwood—a 22-acre lake used for boating, 昀椀shing, paddling boarding and other recreational and educational purposes. This project is part of a larger $400,000 renovation being undertaken by the Conservation District at the site, with support from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
