La toma de Zacatecas y Querétaro, una revisión su- cinta 34 De la toma de Zacatecas , el periódico oficial del gobierno de Querétaro, La Sombra de Arteaga, no informó nada. Esto a pesar de que de los cinco gobernadores que hubo en Queré- 35 36 taro , durante 1914, uno era villista: el coronel Luis Suzán y --como se verá más adelante-- fue denunciado por Manuel Ra- mos, como simpatizante de Francisco Villa. El caso es que de la Toma de Zacatecas sólo se supo hasta tres meses después: «Se tiene noticias de que el Gral. Villa tomó Zacatecas»37. Esta noticia vino a aclarar la confusión que había en Que- rétaro respecto a la posición de Francisco Villa: «con lo cual se confirma la creencia de que no está de acuerdo [Villa] con 34 23 de junio de 1914. 35 La ciudad tenía 48 mil habitantes aproximadamente.
