Hiking Up The Ranthambore Fort Ranthambore Fort is one of the most prominent landmarks of Ranthambore National Park. Although, over 1000 years old, the fort still presents a grand picture. The ruined walls amidst the wild jungles, give it a forlorn yet royal kind of air. Those with an eye for nature will be delighted by the views from the top of the fort, which looks out on the enchanting jungles below. An absolute paradise for photography. As you arrive at the fort, you will see a seemingly endless flight of stairs going up the fort. Climbing these stairs, one almost feels as if the fort is a living entity, whispering tales of its colourful past. Lots of Langurs (white-bodied monkeys with a black face) have now taken up residence in the fort.
