Khajuraho Temple in Madhya Pradesh The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a sizable complex of Jain and Hindu Temples that may be found in the Madhya Pradesh district of Chhatarpur. The Chandela Dynasty kings constructed these monuments in the ninth century. The Nagara architecture and sexual sculptures at this location are well- known. By the 12th century, there were about 85 temples on the site; today, about 20 do. The collection of temples respects both Jain and Hindu traditions.
