TheChallenge MyClient TM Auniquechallengewasgiventomebyaprivate Ultimuslab Blue Reef Tech PVT. LTD. company to design a prototype enclosure for UltimusLabisacreativedesignanddigitalagency initial beta testing of their underdevelopment IoT specialising in delivering user-centric designs and product. The client's brief was that they wanted digital branding solutions, utilising the latest tools something aesthetically rich, can be easily and techniques. They are committed to shaping dismantled, and allowed space for a change in the culture and future of products and businesses the component during the development by delivering comprehensive branding and digital process. design solutions, that speak volumes for themselves. Thesolution I provided a design that does not require a tool to be dismantled, and I also improved the design of the snap-fit joints to allow frequent dismantling. Structural webbing is provided inside to increase the strength of the enclosure. An innovative and unique way to support the internal components was devised, which required to laser cut a card-board with a cut-out of the component such that it would snap with the internal webbing of the enclosure. The design was then processed and optimized for 3D printing. A 3D printed prototype was developed under my supervision. MohakParikh

MODULAR AND ADAPTABLE Non-permanent laser cut card-board cut-outs to hold components in place. It snaps with the internal webbing. It also allows easy component change by laser cutting cut-out of required size andshape. ACCESSIBLE Screw/bolt less design allows dismantlingwithoutanytools. DURABLE Curved male joint provides better resistance to bending during disengaging two halves, hence prevents breaking of the male joint allowing frequent dismantling. SUSTAINABLE STRONG Recyclable and biodegradable PolyLacticAcid(PLA)enclosure. Internal webbing provides better structural strength. MohakParikh
