Campus Happenings Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Messmer Girls Volleyball Team Unites Messmer High School’s girls volleyball team raised awareness of breast cancer in a match against Lake Country Lutheran. Donning custom “all pink out” shirts, the team honored breast cancer survivors. Inspired by Messmer’s tribute, Lake Country Lutheran’s coach purchased pink shirts for her players and staff. By uniting both teams in a touching display of solidarity, this game was an unforgettable moment transcending the game. A big thank you to our athletes, coaches, and fans for showing that the power of sports goes beyond competition—it brings communities together for a cause.
