Special Needs Accommodations The Community Services & Parks Department will provide reasonable accommodations toward the inclusion of a participant. Please contact the Therapeutic Recreation Program supervisor at (818) 548-3783 two weeks prior to the start of the program. Ample time is required to determine the needs for each request. Children who are accompanied by a one-to-one aide must have the aide present during their time in the program. All aides must undergo a background check through the City of Glendale, and must be approved before beginning work. Children who require an aide may not begin the program without an approved aide.
