The Jal Mahal was built by Maharaja Madho Singh, as a covenant to the bond between the Rajputs and the Mughals. Thus, the Mahal encompasses architecture of both arenas. The beauty of the palace is simply exquisite. It is built in the middle of the Man Sagar lake and stands bright with five floors, four of which remain underwater.
