They connect us with other bright minds around the world, and they give us test beds for the innovative products we work on day in, day out. Alongside their obvious goals and requirements, the aims set out by the innovators that launch them, there’s one that is probably less obvious; dissemination of knowledge. Whether an innovation project has achieved all its goals, fallen short in some areas, or even revealed something through a series of failures, it’s important to talk about the results to the world at large. Innovation is great in itself, but it’s not until you put your findings out into the real world that you start to see the real benefits and get the kind of feedback you need to start up the next project.
