During my four years of undergraduate studies, I was exposed to many art-related disciplines, such as Chinese and Western art history, Animation, Photography and Film, etc. The basic theoretical studies of these disciplines provided me with the direction to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Spain. The traditional Chinese culture deeply influenced me, and I felt a strong cultural shock for a long time after I came to Spain. It was a challenging time for me to live and study independently in Spain, which is completely different from China. On the other hand,the differences between Eastern and Western cultures, learning and growing in a multicultural context have taught me how to think critically and express my ideas courageously. The body of works that we have selected for this special edition of ARTiculAction and that our readers have already started to get to know in the introductory pages of this article, has at once captured our attention for the way its unique sensitiveness, able to create such unique combination between intellettual engagement and aesthetics: when walking our readers through your usual setup and process, would you tell us something about the role of technology and editing techniques within your artistic practice?
