Enne Tesse: My future projects include my work “Capture” which I began in 2019 and plan to bring to completion. This work was inspired by th Giambattista Basile’s 17 century fairy tale entitled Petrosinella, a predecessor of Rapunzel. In this large 12ft high by 11ft wide wall piece, cotton drop cloth straps are sewn together to form a towering gowned figure. The figure reaches down towards the viewer by way of polypropylene rope strands. In the belly, the figure carries a crocheted green wool yarn bag containing more polypropylene rope. Also, I plan to continue writing flash and micro fiction. My story “Becoming” was recently published online in Kaidankai and four micro stories will appear in an upcoming online publication. .
