Annex 2D:Template for Local RoadTraiffc Count 428 INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Use Form LR INV No. 3-A, Manual Classiifed Traiffc Count Data Sheet when recording the data for AADT gathered during the conduct of a Two-Directional Manual Classiifed Traiffc Count at the road being considered for the inventory once every three (3) years for a 24-hour manual count starting from 6:00 A.M. and ending at 6:00 A.M. of the following day. 2. Identify the Year when the Traiffc count is to be conducted. 3. Write the Date when the Traiffc Count started. 4. Identify the Region, Province, the City or Municipality, District and Barangay where the Road being considered for the Traiffc count is located. Identify the complete Road Name, Road ID, Station where you positioned yourself for the Traiffc Count and the complete name of the Counting Oiffcer. 5. Mobilize the traiffc count survey when there are no holidays in that particular week and at ideal traiffc survey sites. Always coordinate with PNP, LGU and other concerned government authorities. 6. Whenever vehicles pass by your Traiffc Count Station, tally the number of vehicles according to their classiifcation and according to what directional lane (increasing or decreasing Km post) respectively as described in the form. 7. In the Subtotal column, write the sum of vehicles per classiifcation per directional lane. Then calculate the sum of all the number of vehicles per classiifcation in both directional lanes and write it in the Total column provided for you. By using these data, you will be able to compute for the Annual Average Daily Traiffc (AADT) and Percentage of Heavy Vehicles required for the Annual Inventory of Local Roads.
