Hybrid Construction The new construction style consists of a Stringered EPS Core, wrapped in Fibreglass Cloth & Epoxy Resin, which is then encapsulated by a traditional Softboard deck skin and slick. The major addition (in comparison to regular Softlite Construction) is the addition of the Fibreglass Internal Membrane. Each Softlite Hybrid Series board contains 3 layers of 6oz Fibreglass set with Epoxy Resin on the Deck Side, and 1 layer of 6oz on the slick.
